Assessment Instruments Used / Her Output:
  • Modified Miscue Analysis 

 Jenny's audio and hardcopy assessment were accidentally destroyed, the following is a summary of the results of that assessment (for an example of MMA click on Mara). 

 Jenny's profile fits mostly into the "Low Quality Miscues- Poor Comprehension." She picked up on graphic input, however syntactic and semantic cues were not utilized. Despite activation of background knowledge, Jenny was hard pressed to demonstrate her understanding at even the descriptive phase of  comprehension. 

 Assessing her with Modified Miscue Analysis in the future (2 or 3 months) would now be a highly efficient way of gathering insight on her recent literacy development.
