Resource Room Model:

• Less restrictive, can live at home
• More adaptive measures than self-contained classroom

• Part-time or eventual mainstreaming

Self Contained Classroom:

• Inclusion
• Social interaction w/heterogeneous group
• Can live at home
• Special support systems including:
  • Itinerant Teacher (not in every case / all day)
    • Helps in classroom
    • Used with children with multiple disabilities
    • Better trained to work with the visually impaired.

Transitional Model:

• College / vocational preperation
• study and work skills
• Part time work / school
