Curriculum Implications

• Give copious tactile experience
• use appropriate materials, and devices
• Itinerant and classroom teacher must work together
• Frequent eye breaks (those with low vision)
• Mix visual and auditory, multi-sensory and motor activities
• Use thick chalk
• High contrast photocopies 
• Large print books
• Use markers instead of pens
• Talking calculator, abacus.
• Have Braille and audio-books available.
• Braille writer and access to Braille keyboard
